Our 2024 AGM took place on Wed 10th April 2024 - at approx 3.30 p.m. following the Monthly Talk. There were 70 members present so we were well within quorate.

• Jaci Russell was elected as Treasurer. However, she has since given 3 months notice that she will be standing down, so we need someone to come forward to take over from her.
• Laurence Parry was re-elected to our committee.
• Andrew Mason, Doug Jones and Andrew Collier were elected to the Committee.

We will be having our 2024 AGM in March or possibly April, this is when your Committee reports back to you on how we have performed in the previous year and also the time that we look for new people to assist in running Porthcawl u3a. As I am sure you already know, we are a group that is completely run by volunteers and we are always looking for new people to assist us. We have a wonderful team of Group Leaders and without them we would not exist, they are indeed the life blood of Porthcawl u3a. However, we also need help with the different administration chores, not least of all our Committee members. We currently have 9 members, but there is always room for willing helpers and we will be asking for nominations for members to server on the new Committee.
