Led by Pat Parry, this group no longer meets at Awel y Mor due to the room being used by the office staff from the Pavilion. On the first and third Monday of the month, we now meet at 10.00 in the Round Room in the Hi-Tide. A cup of coffee a chat and a game, your company is more important than your skill.

For those who do not know the game, Scrabble is a word game in which two to four players score points by placing tiles, bearing a single letter, on to a gameboard which is divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words which, in crossword fashion, flow left to right in rows or downwards in columns. The words must be defined in a standard dictionary. Specified reference works (e.g., the Official Club and Tournament Word List, the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary) provide a list of officially permissible word
